Francois Kevorkian started DJing in New York in 1976 while playing the drums in a club where Walter Gibbons was DJing. He was also responsible for many remixes on Prelude Records. He had many guest appearences at the legendary Paradise Garage and toured with Larry Levan in Japan shortly before Larry’s death.

François K. is revered as the co-creator of New York City’s legendary dance party Body&Soul. He tours worldwide for not only his soulful house dj sets, but also for his techno and dub mixes. Over the years he performed regularly at Studio 54, Paradise Garage, The Loft, Ministry of Sound, Sound Factory Bar, Twilo, Roxy and Club Yellow in Japan, to name a few. In great demand, François has gone into the studio to produce/remix recordings by Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, Jimmy Cliff, Underworld, Eurythmics, Bunny Wailer, U2, Ashford & Simpson with Maya Angelou, the Smiths, Dido, Finley Quaye, Diana Ross, Cure, Mick Jagger, Fishbone, Talvin Singh, D Train, Erasure, Yazoo, Black Uhuru, Thomas Dolby, and Jah Wobble. In 2005 François was inducted into the Dance Music Hall of Fame.

We are more than honored to have him playing in Belgrade for the 5th anniversary of the legendary 20/44 boat on the Save river. Our main act will be supported by the mighty Brka, wholehearted Jogarde and deep house fox Enco kern.
