This is the first time that we are writing about kids-friendly places in the city of Belgrade, therefore keep an eye on this pocket-size guide in case you have kids and you want to entertain them.
DORCOL PLATZ
Dorcol’s hidden gem. This super cool venue is located in the Lower Dorcol and consists of one big yard which includes Dorcol Platz culture center and bar, GVINT microbrewery, and Kliker- children playground. Those are all independent companies, however, locals call it Dorcol Platz.
The benefits of this secluded venue are specious and open-air yard with colorful walls covered in murals, interesting playground for smaller kids Kliker; Dorcol Platz, and Gvint where parents can have a coffee or drink beer while their kids are playing in Kliker, or riding the scooter in the yard or maybe playing ping pong inside the Dorcol Platz. In case your kids get hungry there is a Serbian kafana Holesterol right next to the venue, where you can grab a burger.
Recommendation: appropriate for younger kids

SKATE PARK
Another great entertainment and recreational zone if you have a skater. The skate park is located on the confluence in the close proximity of the Museum of Contemporary Art and USCE shopping mall which is perfect if you want to explore the Yugoslav and local art scene and have a portion of delicious fast food in the mall.
Recommendation: skaters or art lovers only

BELGRADE ZOO
Don’t miss out on small Belgrade Zoo in the Kalemgdan fortress (Donji grad). Your kid might have an opportunity to ride a pony, get to know various bird species, domestic and wild animals, and don’t forget to see the oldest alligator in the world Muja (84), and new seals and penguins. In case you get a sweet tooth or you need a drink there is nothing to worry about since the Zoo includes several bars and ice cream pop-ups.

MUSEUM OF ILLUSIONS
A small and private museum that can be worth your while. This is a museum where you can actually touch exponents and have fun since it’s made for entertainment. There are optical illusions and holograms.

MINI-GOLF ON ADA
Minigolf ada is another great open-air venue. It’s located on Ada Island. This is a great place to have recreation and fun family time. The price is less than 2 euros per mini-golf player. Do not forget to reserve your slot. In case you want to relax you can drop by to one of the many bars around the lake, eat ice cream and have a cappuccino.
