Conferences and festivals are very important forms of diffusion of knowledge, music, culture and art, since they give us insights into regional and global achievements in one period of time. Since the end of millennium the Balkan Peninsula has become an area with a stunning festival culture. Some festivals such as Sziget in Hungary were founded in the 90’s while others such as summer music festival Love International in Tisno and winter music festival Festival 84 in Bosnia & Herzegovina are rather new and up-and-coming events. Every year some new music festival emerges in Balkans and makes a step forward in the process of “festivalisation” of this part of the globe.
Lovefest is one of the most up-and-coming music festivals in the region of SEE. It boasts more than affordable prices compared to other music festivals around Europe, as well as a very forward- thinking music selection. Imagine a four-day, non-stop party, with a line-up for 2018 that includes artists such as Blawan, Butch, Emanuel Satie, Gerd Janson, Optimo, Len Faki, Loco Dice, Sven Vath, Dubfire and many others. This summer festival takes place in August, in Vrnjacka Banja (Serbia) near the lake and has several dance floors perfect for exploring different electronic music genres.
