On the occasion of 110 years since the birth of one of the most important painters in the Balkans, Petar Lubarda, Canvas Gallery in cooperation with Vladimir Vasic presents exhibition “Petar Lubarda – Fragments of the 6th decade”, which will be displayed until the 11th of June in the Canvas gallery, in 16 Kosovska St. in Belgrade.

The exhibition includes 17 works of different formats and techniques, resulting in the period from 1949 to 1958.  Exhibition includes paintings of smaller formats, but also with three major works – Skadar Lake, Battle of Vucija valley and Souvenir du taureau and as a special rarity allocates the Battle of Kosovo carried out in the oil and paint for murals on the plaster.

The exhibited works are from private collections, some of which have not been shown to the public so far.
