It is perfect for 6 persons and yet possible to accommodate up to ten people should the need arise. It is equipped with high quality fittings and artistic decorations with a mixture of vintage and homemade furniture with a large sunny balcony. The duplex itself has a total area of 140 square meters (ground level 80m² and upper level 40m²) and the balcony of an additional 20m². High ceilings provide peace and quite and wooden flooring has been recently refurbished and decorated with original artworks (the landlord is a well-known Serbian artist and interior designer) – almost every piece of furniture is an original and unique artwork of its own, designed with love and passion.

The duplex has two bedrooms with double (king-size) beds, a smaller room with a double bed, a living room with a kitchen and a big terrace. Zemun is known as one of the lovely and most romantic little towns on the Danube river in the whole region. It is another tourist heart of Belgrade, a picturesque part of the city with a particular atmosphere of its own and the untouched nature in the most famous tourist metropolis of the Balkans. The old part of Zemun is best to visit on foot, walking down the cobblestone roads, alleys edged with linden, poplar and birch trees, winding staircase, together with stops at the Great Market in the DownTown, in what used to be the center of commercial and cultural life all thanks to the beautiful Danube river bank. The Opera house and famous theatre Madlenianum, the museum and gallery of the Serbian Air Force, the family house “Karamata” and Summer Stage Gardos are all an integral part of cultural life of Zemun and are within walking distance from the apartment. A number of lovely little restaurants, taverns and boathouses with a friendly atmosphere are there and it takes only a few minutes walk.
One can buy fresh fruit and vegetables on a regular daily basis at the local farmers’ market, freshly baked bread or enjoy breakfast and brunch in a quiet place in the pedestrian zone or by the Danube river. The Zemun pedestrian zone is a perfect neighborhood for all those who want to feel an authentic and unique experience of this town.
The apartment is located at the perfect spot where lines seem to cross leading to all main locations so that you enjoy the magic of Zemun . It is also very well connected with the center of the city of Belgrade (only ten minutes by public transport and/or bicycle that can be rented directly from the owner of the apartment. Bicycles tend to be the best means of transport in Zemun. There is a bike path all the way to the Belgrade city center. Hiring a bike can be arranged quickly and easily. The local bus stop is only 50 meters away with direct lines towards Belgrade, central bus station and a train station and other parts of the city. The highway is just around 3 km away. Transportation from and to the airport “Nikola Tesla” is available 24 hours a day at standard prices. All additional support is available non-stop 00-24 h.
