Dušan Lazović won the competition for the Burn Studios DJ Residency on the island of Ibiza, held last weekend at the “Mix Off” party at DEPO Magacin in Belgrade. According to the decision of the jury consisting of the famous Serbian djs Lea Dobričić, Dejan Milićević and Marko Milosavljević, Dušan prepared and played dj set overcoming strong competition and fulfilling criteria including: music selection, mixing skills, contact with the audience, performance and personal energy. Other finalists were Miloš Arsović, Minimalistic, Underboki, Luka Vuković, Novak and Antrax.
Dušan, along with representatives of other countries will travel to the International Music Summit in Ibiza, where he will participate in intensive workshops with music superstars such as: Carl Cox and Pete Tong. Three of the most talented participants will achieve their dreams by getting summer residencies at popular Ibiza clubs including Privilege, Cafe Mambo, Sankeys i Zoo Project.
I am very excited and looking forward to move to Ibiza. Burn residency gives a chance for young DJs to achieve their dreams. I am grateful that I am just elected to be the representative of Serbia and I will try to be successful at the world finals, said the winner Dušan.
