Exhibition “Fashion, Design, Painting” will take place in the gallery Portofino from the 2nd of June.
Nataša Krstić’s exhibition, “Fashion, Design, Painting”, explores the relation between fashion design and painting. Composition in paintings, clothing and cushions is constructed with the same principles in mind. In this way, a dialogue between traditional fine arts principles and decoration is created. A painting can be decorative, in the same way in which the language of fine arts may be the foundation for fashion and design.
Artist Nataša Krstić was born in Belgrade in 1972, and graduated from the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting in 1997.
