One of the biggest names in the electronic music industry, Maceo Plex, is finally coming to Belgrade to open this year’s Aprgrade Weekend on Thursday, September 6 at Kalemegdan fortress! Like Solomon, who started a three-day party in the trench under the Military Museum last year, Maceo Plex will launch the fifth and so far the biggest edition of the Apgrade weekend, led by the undisputed leaders of the global electronic music movement, Laurent Garnier and Sven Väth.
Maceo Plex returns to Belgrade after seven years in which he “grew up”, not only as the absolute headliner of the biggest electronic music festivals, but also as one of the new leaders of the world scene, the author whose unique sound best defines modern music production. September’s Apgrade Weekend, from its first edition was conceived as a culmination of the summer season of major open-air events in the region, as well this year, in the spirit of the slogan “The only way is Δp”, the scale moves forward.
Next to mentioned headliner trio, this year’s line up will include: the New York magnate Anthony Parasole, Berlin’s techno boy band FJAAK, the Berlin’s techno lady Jennifer Cardini, Cocoon team captain Maurizio Schmitz, Serbian techno ambassador Tijana T, the long-awaited “live” genius Tim Green, as well as extremely talented musician Vaal.
