First time a had a chance to try Kabinet beer was at this year’s Belgrade Design Week and the taste of this beer totally blow me away. This is one new Serbian brand that can boast with high-quality and excellent design. The idea of making this craft beer originated from initiative of one Serbian couple who opened their own factory in Nemenikuće on the sunny slope at the foot of mountain Kosmaj, mixing Belgian malts, French yeasts and hops from around the world.
Kabinet Brewery produces few types of beer and all of them are organic without preservatives. The factory is not big, so they produce limited quantities.
Kabinet wanted its branding and packaging design to accurately reflect its values and commitment to quality. The brand enlisted creative studio Lorem Ipsum to redesign the branding. The project was headed by Serbian designers Nemanja Jehlicka, Bratislav Milenkovic and Nikola Zmajevic, who came up with the ‘Cabinet of Curiosities’ concept.
