Radionica (The Workshop) Bar is a brand new hot spot in Belgrade. It is situated in the very heart of the city- in the industrial zone of Lower Dorćol. The personality of this bar is defined by its outstanding interior design & carefully chosen music selection.
Interior reflects aesthetics of raw & untreated concrete walls, simple wood & metal elements in the form of corrugated & flat surface of the long bar & other furniture from tables and chairs to toilette sinks. Its ostensibly cold interior is warmed up with cozy velvet sitting set, very much enjoyed by visitors.
The lighting (several small reflectors & one shiny disco ball) as well as the disposition & materialization of the furniture are all simply designed to contrast the nude walls structure in the fore front. The old machines-lathe incorporated in the DJ stand & vertical drill in the restroom are retained as a retrospection of the workshop that once existed precisely in that same place.
An interesting detail is the entrance. Metal doors which, I guess, already existed in the old workshop combined with glass doors representing a mixture of the present & the past. No changes have been made to the exterior. When the metal doors are closed, one can not guess that a cool bar is actually behind.
The bar is conceptualized as a pretty up market place made for refined crowd preferring underground electronic music sounds & quality drinks. There is no dress-code so you can dress something fancy or just some casual outfit like all-stars & jeans.
Radionica bar works from 6 pm until 4 am which makes it perfect for an after-work cocktail but also for crazy all night parties. As I previously mentioned, the music selection is quite good, ranging from jazz & funky via deep & tech house. Popular artists as the well-known DJ Fakir & Lea Dobričić (the queen of Belgrade underground) have already played music here a week ago.
We warmly suggest you to check out this new hot spot.
Bring a lot of good vibe and see ya there!!!
