As every weekend Still in Belgrade guides you thru the best parties and finest crowds in town. Let’s start with Dis-patch promo party with Darek Plaslaiko at Drugstore club in Palilula.
The first promo and benefit party [all proceedings will go into the +++ production budget] is scheduled for April 10th special appearance of Detroit-born, Berlin-based DJ Derek Plaslaiko. Tickets: 400 RSD
Zavod concept bar in Savamala presents Creed records showcase with Max D’ Funk. Party starts at 21 h. The bassist background can be heard and felt a lot in his sets, which are littered with funky groovy vibes, soulful vocals and an inclination towards organic, “real-recorded” music. His influences range from french funky house, Chicago’s jackin’ house and ghetto funk producers to bands like Jamiroquai and Parliament, with grooves going from dirty ghetto funky breaks to modern sounding four-on-the-floor house. When not traveling the world with a bass guitar in his hands, Max can be seen behind the decks of a nearby club, getting the speakers to churn out good musical vibes for a select group of people. The music doesn’t have to be new, trendy or popular, it just has to be good and it has to be funky as hell.
Also, you can drop by Club 100 in Brace Krsmanovica next to KC Grad. This is a new trendy place in town.
On Saturday night don’t miss Rampue live at KC Grad. One of the central events of the sixth birthday of KC Grad will be the live set of one of the most talented new producers from Berlin – Rampue. Date: 11.04.2015 at 23 h. Before midnight entrance is free, and after midnight ticket will be 300 RSD. Daniel Kraynak is a person who has been researching into the world of music, but at the same time his another important side is a great positive energy at the dance floor. Probably the easiest way to describe his sound is to say that is the sound of the city from which he comes – city of Berlin. In his rhythms and melodies you can hear the sound of the summer matinee fun at one of Berlin’s canals, minimal house from the Panorama Bar in the morning, vocals and sounds from the Turkish kebab shop in Kreuzberg or just feel the freedom and size of Alexanderplatz. We do not have much opportunity to hear something so fresh, upcoming big name (in some music magazines compered with the more experienced DJ Koze or even Dixon). This will be an opportunity to close eyes and feel the atmosphere of Berlin streets or simply enjoy the irresistible rhythms of this maestro. Local support for our guest from Berlin will be Vlada Janjic and Kristijan Molnar.
New event called Sunday Beat hosts popular local DJs. It’s taking place every Sunday in 4 Nemanjina street from 9 pm to 5 am. Also, don’t forget that Resonate festival starts on Monday, we have already announced it few times and we expect stunning music programme.
