SWEET APOCALYPSE |  Location: SKC, Kralja Milana 48

Sweet Apocalypse | Part 1 is a project created back in 2002, where the dominant theme is the biblical Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse from the Book of Revelation by Saint John. Vuk placed them in the contemporary context of that time. Diagrams, which accompany the main focus of the exhibition – four paintings representing the Horsemen – position the project within the discourse of the timeline of Art history and the history of Humanity, which, in a way, ominously possessed the prophetic power of the artist’s thinking through the subsequent events of wars, epidemics, and technology.

ATOMS & CELLS / Location: ARTE Gallery, Kralja Milana 48/50

The collection of works from various periods and series of Vuk’s art combine galaxies, cells, and skulls as connectors between humans, space, and the universe. The exhibition “Atoms & Cells” explores the theme that emerged from the artist’s perception of atomic and microscopic phenomena contrasted with galactic and macroscopic perspectives. It presents a juxtaposition of these elements, representing Vuk’s exploration of the interplay between the micro and macro scales of existence.
