Mikser Festival will be held from the 23rd to the 25th of May in Lower Dorcol (Donji Dorcol), Belgrade. The theme of this year’s program is Micro Tactics. This endeavor is focused on small but significant steps towards improving reality – the MICRO TACTICS of creative individuals and collectives across the Balkans and Europe. By networking them through the festival platform, we aim to strengthen the cooperation of this multitude of brilliant points with the goal of a stronger positive impact on society.
To what extent is an individual today willing to change the world around them? What are their available tools and capacities? What are their chances of creating a positive critical mass necessary for meaningful change? Where have the revolutions disappeared? And is the only remaining revolution today the technological revolution, which, with the rapid flow of information, disrupts the status quo? Or have information algorithms precisely collapsed the global macro system based on the silent but sustainable cohabitation of good and evil?
Among the rubble of unrealized revolutions, faded ideals, and failed macro projects, a bipolar world has been created. Us and them. Them and us. Narrowing to absurdity. Amid a social landscape witnessing increasingly drastic polarization of differences, the Mikser Festival 2024 will be a place of precious encounters and collaboration among creatives, scientists, innovators, activists, enthusiasts, and citizens of all profiles, contemplating a more humane, united society together.

We will bring together various protagonists of tactical practices: experts, amateurs, artists, decision-makers, activists, entrepreneurs, scientists, workers, innovators, enthusiasts, and citizens, and together explore and demonstrate that these seemingly fragmented approaches can be connected and harnessed to drive larger social changes.

Dorćol Platz
Dorćol Platz is a multidisciplinary art commune open to all creative individuals, a meeting place for all who advocate for cultural and social change. Through its programs, it engages with the community through art, education, and projects that connect the domestic and foreign cultural sectors. By involving various individuals and groups, Dorćol Platz aims to become a center for sustainable development through culture, ecology, technology, sports, and science.
Prostor Miljenko Dereta
Citizen Initiatives was founded by Prostor Miljenko Dereta at the end of 2019 to provide a space for meeting, working, and collaborating for activists, informal and formal groups, and associations aiming to make the city of Belgrade a better place to live.
