Somewhere between the stars and the sand where olive trees protect a space that smells of lavender and rosemary there is a unique musical resort called hotel Source.  Precisely in that same venue the magic of the Oasis festival went on for three warm September nights.

Walking across terraces with cocktails looking at the Atlas Mountains or through the chill zone where Santa was serving us Moroccan tea, we had a chance to heal our bodies with some yoga classes or decorate them with the help of friendly and creative make-up artists at the Oasis Secret garden.

Two open air stages: the Oasis, filled in with a swimming pool and the Arena stage, an amphitheater surrounded with desert cactuses, allured us with attractive names such as Anja Schneider, Daniel Avery and Henrik Schwarz, Nicolas Jaar and Richie Hawtin.

Lightning up the Oasis stage, the audience ecstatically danced to the rhythm of Richie’s techno beats as well as Nicolas Jaar’s live performance, once again showing his brilliancy.

Jaar, after playing the night before, seemingly amused by an already warmed up audience, jumped in to cover for Maceo Plex who had to cancel his performance.

The Dance arena was enriched with the amazingly interesting live performance of Giorgia Angiuli, Italian composer and multi-instrumentalist. Cute and innovative, she was spreading magical vibes into our ears. On the other hand, Anja Schneider marked the same stage announcing her first album in 9 years.

Africa, mountains, nature, palm threes, top notch musicians, supreme music, cocktails, comfort so what else can you long for?!

See you again next year at the Oasis festival in Marrakech!
