The “SPACE OF DESIGN” exhibition showcases the creative works of students from the Department of Art & Design at BAPUSS. The exhibit focuses on design as a pervasive element in various spaces and explores its impact on the lives of people.

Design by Selena Vunjerović

The exhibition’s concept revolves around the idea that all spaces where people live, whether private, virtual, or public, are consciously or unconsciously designed. The exhibit aims to reflect this concept by redistributing the museum gallery space into four separate units that represent different aspects of life. These units are designed to communicate with the external language of various visual models, and their contents are created by students.

Design by Andjela Taskovic

The exhibition focuses on design as an integrating and ubiquitous element of different spaces and their users. It emphasizes that design goes beyond the aspects of art because it becomes an instrument of communication and interaction at the level of all segments of life.

The four units in the exhibit are designed to lead the viewer from the exterior and public to the private and interior spaces. The visual models used in each unit have different identities that intertwine and permeate in constant continuity, creating a cohesive and interconnected experience for the viewer.

Overall, the exhibition aims to showcase the importance of design in shaping the spaces where we live and how it affects our lives in various ways. It encourages viewers to think more deeply about the design elements of their own areas and how they impact their daily lives.
