From Jazz Legends to Neo-Soul Stars: Musicology Sessions in Belgrade

This spring, Musicology Sessions at BitefArtCafe brings a powerful lineup of global music icons, blending jazz, funk, soul, and experimental sound into a series of intimate, high-quality live performances.

From legendary names to boundary-pushing new voices, this is one of the most exciting concert programs in the city right now.

What’s on the lineup:

March 8 – Marta & Vasil Hadžimanov
An emotional, acoustic evening shaped by family heritage and musical legacy. This special concert is dedicated to Senka Veletanlić, celebrating timeless songs and the spirit of Yugoslav jazz and evergreen music.

March 12 – MonoNeon
One of the most original artists of the new generation and former collaborator of Prince, MonoNeon brings a genre-defying performance blending funk, jazz, hip-hop, and improvisation. Expect the unexpected—this is music in its most spontaneous form.

April 2 – Frank Gambale
Grammy-winning guitar virtuoso and jazz fusion legend takes the stage with his All-Star band. Known for his work with Chick Corea, Gambale delivers a powerful, technically masterful performance that Rolling Stone once described as “ferocious.”

April 28 – Michael Mayo
A rising star of the global neo-soul and jazz scene, Mayo redefines what the human voice can do—moving between improvisation, emotion, and storytelling with ease.

May 14 – Selah Sue and The Gallands
The globally acclaimed Belgian artist returns with a fresh project, merging soulful vocals with contemporary jazz and modern production. A vibrant, emotional live experience not to be missed.

Musicology Sessions continues to position BitefArtCafe as one of Belgrade’s key cultural hotspots—where international talent meets local audiences in an intimate setting.
