Illusions Montenegro Festival Unveils Three Days of Electronic Music Excellence on Ulcinj’s Velika Plaža

Interest in Illusions Montenegro Festival has exceeded all expectations, with more than 60% of tickets sold within just five days of the lineup announcement. Taking place from 13–15 August at Nomade Beach on Velika Plaža in Ulcinj, the festival is set to become one of the most anticipated electronic music events of the Adriatic summer.

Combining world-class production, immersive audio-visual experiences, and a carefully curated lineup of international and regional artists, Illusions Montenegro Festival promises three unforgettable nights on one of the most spectacular beaches in Southeast Europe.

Day One: Techno Powerhouse Takes Over the Beach

The opening night will be headlined by Sam Paganini, one of the most influential figures in contemporary techno. The Italian DJ and producer, best known for the global anthem Rave, returns to Montenegro after a ten-year absence. With more than two decades of experience, performances at the world’s leading festivals, and releases on legendary labels such as Drumcode, Plus8 and Cocoon, Paganini remains one of the most respected names in electronic music.

Joining him is Salomé, one of Europe’s fastest-rising techno artists. Originally from Tbilisi and now based in Berlin, Salomé has built a reputation through her distinctive blend of techno, melodic techno and progressive sounds. Her performances at major events including Primavera Sound, Tomorrowland, Sónar, Dekmantel and Dour Festival have established her as one of the most exciting artists of the new generation.

Regional support comes from acclaimed Serbian DJ and producer Ilija Đoković, alongside Denada, one of the emerging names of the regional electronic music scene.

Day Two: A Celebration of Melodic Techno

The second festival night will be dedicated to melodic techno, led by internationally acclaimed Italian duo Fideles. Consisting of Daniele M. Aprile and Mario Roberti, Fideles have become one of the most recognizable names in melodic electronic music through releases on Afterlife, Innervisions, Correspondant and Ultra Records. Collaborations with CamelPhat, Monolink, WhoMadeWho, Vintage Culture and Benny Benassi have further strengthened their global reputation.

Joining them is Magdalena, one of the leading names in melodic techno and indie dance. Her appearances at Tomorrowland, Afterlife, Zamna, Cercle and Resistance, along with releases on Zamna Records, Renaissance Records and Warung Recordings, have positioned her among the most sought-after artists in the genre.

The evening’s energy will be amplified by local support from DJ Nexie, founder of Illusions Festival, together with Enklavaparci and Lazar, artists whose distinctive sound continues to attract growing attention across the regional electronic scene.

Day Three: House and Tech-House Grand Finale

The festival’s closing night will be headlined by Patrick Topping, one of the UK’s most successful house and tech-house artists. Since his breakthrough in 2013, Topping has become a fixture at the world’s leading festivals and clubs. Known for collaborations with Green Velvet and Kevin Saunderson, as well as remixes for The Streets and Calvin Harris, he remains one of the most influential figures in contemporary dance music.

The final day will also feature Stacie Fields, alongside regional favourites Mene, Diggie, and Drajzer, delivering a powerful conclusion to the three-day festival experience.

A New Festival Destination on the Adriatic

More than just a music event, Illusions Montenegro Festival aims to redefine the festival experience on the Montenegrin coast. Against the stunning backdrop of Velika Plaža, festival-goers can expect hypnotic visual production, world-class sound, unforgettable sunsets, and an atmosphere that seamlessly blends music, nature and community.

Through its partnership with Nomade Beach, Illusions is creating a unique open-air destination designed to attract electronic music lovers from across the Balkans and Europe, positioning Ulcinj as one of the region’s most exciting emerging festival hotspots.

Tickets are available through Gigstix, Tobacco Press sales outlets, and the festival’s official website. Additional information and festival updates can be found via Illusions Festival’s official Instagram channels.
