One of the world’s most influential DJs and producers, a global icon of electronic music, and a GRAMMY Award winner – Black Coffee is coming to Belgrade for a spectacular Open Air show on September 18th, brought to you by BLNDR and Topljenje production.
Black Coffee took his first major step toward global recognition in 2003 by participating in the prestigious Red Bull Music Academy. Just two years later, he released his debut album “Black Coffee”, firmly establishing himself as a leading figure in the South African house movement. His hit “Superman” became an anthem of the genre and later gained global reach through a collaboration with Drake, amplifying his presence on the international music scene.
Over the years, Black Coffee has performed at the world’s top festivals and iconic venues — from Ibiza to Miami, Coachella to Tomorrowland. His DJ sets are known for their emotional depth, powerful basslines, and hypnotic rhythms that dissolve the boundaries between performer and audience.
In 2022, he won the GRAMMY Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album for “Subconsciously”, becoming the first South African artist to receive this honor in that category. His accolades also include BET Awards, South African Music Awards, and DJ Awards, while consistently ranking in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list since 2016.
Beyond music, Black Coffee is deeply engaged in philanthropic work. Through the Black Coffee Foundation, he supports education and youth empowerment in South Africa and is currently building a music school in his homeland to foster and support emerging talent.
