Music, games, destination promotion, and a humanitarian action within the event “Disko Travel Experience”
On Saturday, September 13, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., the garden of the Museum of African Art will be transformed into a vibrant place of encounters, friendship, and the discovery of new experiences.
The event DISKO TRAVEL EXPERIENCE is intended for visitors of all generations – children, young people, families, and friends – and combines fun, music, creativity, and a humanitarian mission.
The youngest guests can look forward to exciting games, animations, face painting, and quizzes, while adults will have the chance to relax in the natural surroundings of the museum garden, taste specialties of world cuisines, and enjoy performances by Belgrade DJs and a concert by the St. Louis Band, led by Marko Louis. A special part of the program will be the promotion of tourist destinations from all five continents, offering a unique simulation of a journey around the world in a single day. At 2 p.m., a guided tour of the exhibition “Prefabrication of Solidarity – IMS-Žeželj between Yugoslavia, Cuba and Angola” will be held, providing visitors with a special opportunity to learn about this theme before the exhibition closes. Thanks to the support of the Disko Travel agency, visitors will also have the chance to win exceptional prizes – a trip to the Maldives or to Cappadocia and Istanbul, as well as vouchers and gift packages for explorers of all ages.
The Museum of African Art invites the public to spend Saturday in its garden – with music, friendship, a journey around the world, and shared solidarity. The humanitarian aspect of the event will provide financial support to NURDOR – the National Association of Parents of Children with Cancer. Since 2003, NURDOR has been bringing together parents, doctors, nurses, volunteers, and all people of good will, offering practical, emotional, and material support to sick children and their families. This year, NURDOR is also marking Golden September – the month of support for children and young people with cancer.
By sending an SMS with the number “1” to 1150, a donation of 100 dinars will be given to NURDOR, directly supporting the construction of a new Parent House in Belgrade – a place that provides warmth, home comfort, and essential support to children undergoing treatment and their families.
