A New Mural has Emerged on the Façade of KC Grad

A brand new mural has emerged at the back of KC Grad looking onto of  the shores of the River Sava. With support of the Dutch Embassy in Belgrade, KC Grad decided to paint a new mural dedicated to Serbian and Dutch friendship and collaboration right after the Orange Week manifestation.

The artist who painted mural is TKV from Serbia. The mural showcases a young girl, her skin is orange and she is wearing Dutch traditional hat and smiles. Behind her the wall is painted in blue and the patterns resemble the Dutch porcelain.

I had full artistic freedom in representing the  Netherlands, and I picked this idea without it being a cliché. The orange is a clear symbol and a delft porcelain is known around the world. A little girl smile just spreads positivity, which is particularly important in this part of the city – explains TKV.
