A new music festival called Blender has emerged in Belgrade in 2017. The aim of this festival is to present some big names in electronic music industry and to generate a superb club experience.
On the 24th of February Blender hosted Better Lost than Stupid at the new venue called Skladiste, located in the former industrial area of Lower Dorcol. It wasn’t really easy to reach the venue, since not even taxi drivers could find the right location, but the space itself is very interesting. Therefore, we are pleased that Belgrade got a brand new space for big rave parties with two stages hidden away from the city crowd.
For those who do not know, Better Lost than Stupid is a DJ gang consisting of Martin Buttrich, Matthias Tanzmann and Davide Squillace who are currently on a tour. We were lucky enough to catch them playing at EXIT festival in Novi Sad a few years ago. They were one of the headliners that year and we remember their versatile performance very well.
During Blender festival Belgrade audience got a chance to listen to crème de la crème of Ibiza tech house all night long. The music played was quite danceable with splendid bass lines and sexy grooves pumping it until the end of the party and gaining several applauses from the crowd.
