New High-Speed “Soko” Train Connects Belgrade and Subotica in Just 80 Minutes

Fast, modern, and scenic – explore northern Serbia with the new Soko express

Starting today, the new “Soko” high-speed train officially operates on the Belgrade–Subotica route, offering a fast and comfortable way to explore the north of Serbia. The first train departs exactly at noon, marking the beginning of a new era of modern railway travel across Vojvodina.

The trip now takes only around 80 minutes, allowing travelers to reach Subotica in record time. The train features free Wi-Fi, air-conditioned coaches, power outlets, and a smooth, quiet ride through the flat landscapes of northern Serbia. Tickets can be purchased via the Srbija Voz app or directly at the railway stations.

In the near future, passengers will also be able to continue their journey to Szeged and Budapest, opening an easy and sustainable rail link between Serbia and Hungary.
