Karmakoma — June 2026, monthly programme

As summer settles over Belgrade, the city’s nightlife enters a new chapter. June at Karmakoma brings together local selectors, carefully curated international guests, and a new edition of the Apgrade Festival. From intimate warm-ups to sunrise closings, each weekend adds a new layer to the month’s story, moving between house, disco, hypnotic techno, and exploratory club sounds.

June 5–6
The first weekend of June arrives with a distinctly sun-soaked mood, welcoming familiar friends and exciting newcomers to the Karmakoma booth.

Friday, June 5
Pitaya Soundsystem, Luton & Šćepa, Nevena Jeremić

Pitaya Soundsystem, the self-proclaimed Italian wax addicts, return to Belgrade! The Paris-based trio has become known for its eclectic selections of rare disco, house, and overlooked gems sourced from record shops and flea markets across Europe. Their motto — “sun lovers, drum bangers, cold showers” — feels perfectly suited to the arrival of summer. Joining them are scene favourites Luton & Šćepa, whose playful approach to DJing has made them one of Belgrade’s most beloved duos, while Nevena Jeremić digs deep into her collection of exotic and emotionally charged house music for the occasion.

Saturday, June 6
Eversines, Shoxy, Johana

Rotterdam-based producer and DJ Eversines makes his Karmakoma debut. Founder of the Jamming Is Life imprint and affiliated with Amsterdam’s influential De Lichting collective, Eversines has spent the last decade developing a distinctive sound that blends acid house, electro, breaks, and cinematic atmospheres. His acclaimed album In Vivid Motion introduced his work to a wider audience, while releases on labels such as Kalahari Oyster Cult, Slow Life, Nous’Klaer Audio, and 20/20 Vision have established him as one of the most exciting producers of his generation.
Support comes from Johana and Shoxy, two DJs whose eclectic approach to electronic dance music perfectly complements the evening’s exploratory spirit.

June 12–13
The second weekend shifts the focus toward extended storytelling and hypnotic dancefloor experiences.

Friday, June 12
Elio, Phillie P

A meeting of two great DJs known for carefully constructed journeys through house, deep rhythms, funk, disco, hip-hop, and house-influenced styles. Expect a night built gradually, with patience, detail, and an emphasis on atmosphere.

Saturday, June 13
Joseph Tagliabue, mdngt

Joseph Tagliabue returns to Karmakoma after delivering one of the most memorable sets of the club’s second season. The Italian artist first left a lasting impression during a marathon five-hour session, a recording that remains available through Karmakoma’s SoundCloud archive. Since then, his reputation has continued to grow among discerning selectors and listeners alike. Supported early on by artists such as Jane Fitz, Vladimir Ivković, and Alexis Le-Tan, Tagliabue has developed a sound rooted in tribal hypnosis, deep techno, ambient textures, and meditative rhythm. Alongside his work as a DJ and producer, he is also a sound engineer at Milan’s Blue Sea Studio, bringing a unique attention to detail and sonic depth to every performance. Joining him is mdngt, whose carefully curated selections provide the perfect counterpart to an evening designed for total immersion.

June 19–20
APGRADE WEEKEND
The first Apgrade Weekend of the summer unfolds across two club nights, bringing together some of the most influential names in contemporary electronic music.

Friday, June 19
Gabrielle Kwarteng, stellarcompanion, Runy

One of the most sought-after DJs on today’s international circuit, Gabrielle Kwarteng brings her singular approach to dance music to Karmakoma for the opening night of Apgrade Weekend.
Raised in New York and shaped by time spent in Berlin, Kwarteng has developed a style that seamlessly moves between house, techno, acid, and contemporary club music. Her sets move between house foundations, acid textures, techno pressure, and more contemporary hybrid forms that resist fixed categorisation.
Support comes from stellarcompanion and Runy, representing a new generation of selectors whose adventurous musical vision continues to push local scenes forward.

Saturday, June 20
Laurent Garnier, Nevena Jeremić, Ali Güney

The second night welcomes one of electronic music’s true icons.
For more than three decades, Laurent Garnier has continuously redefined the possibilities of electronic music. As a DJ, producer, composer, author, and cultural ambassador, his influence extends far beyond the dancefloor. His work bridges club functionality with cinematic depth, combining technical mastery with a profound understanding of musical storytelling. Through an uncompromising commitment to artistic evolution and club culture, Garnier has become one of the defining figures in electronic music history and a reference point for generations of DJs, producers, and listeners worldwide. Presented within Karmakoma’s intimate setting and carefully limited capacity, this event offers a rare opportunity to experience an artist of such stature in an unusually personal environment. Joining him are Karmakoma resident Nevena Jeremić and Ali Güney.

June 26–27
The final weekend of June brings together artists whose musical identities exist beyond easy categorisation, closing the month with a blend of deep listening and dancefloor energy.

Friday, June 26
Budino, Ali Güney, Nikola Vemić

Italian producer and DJ Budino is known for weaving together Balearic influences, cosmic disco, house, and downtempo textures into richly atmospheric journeys. Alongside Ali Güney and Nikola Vemić, the evening promises a fluid exploration of rhythm, melody, and mood.

Saturday, June 27
An-i, Edin (OMA), WC7

June concludes with one of the month’s most anticipated underground bookings. An-i is the alias of Doug Lee, a New York-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer known for his raw, experimental approach to electronic music. Associated with the Minimal Wave / Cititrax imprint, his work spans industrial techno, EBM, noise, and leftfield club sounds. Emerging from the late-90s NYC underground, he has built a reputation for uncompromising, high-intensity productions and DJ sets that sit outside traditional genre boundaries while remaining firmly rooted in underground dance culture.
Joining him are Edin of OMA and WC7, completing a lineup dedicated to adventurous listening and boundary-pushing club music.

Tickets for all events can be bought on RA.
