February is officially recognized as Reggae Month in Jamaica, with annual celebrations held across the island to honor reggae music and legends like Bob Marley and Dennis Brown. Embracing the spirit of these festivities, Riviera Sound System invites you to the Belgrade Dub Club #5 at Club Echelon on Thursday, February 27, starting at 20h.

After a successful edition in January at Belgrade’s first Afro-club, Riviera Sound System returns to the city center to deliver an unforgettable night filled with international reggae and dub sounds, driven by powerful bass frequencies.

Since this event occurs at the end of Reggae Month, celebrated worldwide every February, expect festival vibes with DJs from Russia, Romania, Brazil, the UK, and Serbia. Among the featured artists are:

About the Artists

🔹 Different Fashion Sound (RU)
Different Fashion is a label dedicated to the “dub continuum”—a concept linking early reggae and ska with future dancehall, jungle, and experimental dub sounds. Founded in 2020 as a series of vinyl and tape mixes, Different Fashion has hosted events in Moscow, Bishkek, Almaty, and Belgrade. The label’s releases span Russia, Jamaica, the UK, Germany, and Kyrgyzstan and have been featured on NTS, Noods, LYL Radio, and BBC’s “On the Wire” show by Steve Barker.

🔹 ZO (RO)
Originally from Hunedoara, now based in Cluj and Timișoara, ZO is one of the most versatile bass music DJs and promoters in Romania. His dynamic sets blend hip-hop, dub, UK garage, and drum & bass. Since 2011, his event label Subfeleac has been a key player in Romania’s electronic music scene, hosting top artists like Sukh Knight, Flava D, Radikal Guru, DJ Vadim, Mungo’s Hi-Fi, and Subcarpati.

🔹 Jon Jitsu (RO)
A master of drum & bass, reggae, and dub, Jon Jitsu is known for his rich musical taste and deep vinyl collection. He frequently performs at sound system events and festivals across Romania, often alongside ZO.

🔹 Riviera Sound System
As always, Riviera Sound System will be responsible for delivering the best sound tailored for dub and reggae fans. Built in Belgrade in 2023, the system is based on designs by Rog Mogale and Stipe Ercegovic.
