Belgrade Summer Festival – BELEF will be held on a several city locations from July 15 to August 15. Diverse and rich cultural program entitled “A Sentimental Journey” will be staged at the Republic Square, in front of the Instituto Cervantes, at the Flower Square, in Cultural Center “House of Petar I” at Senjak, at Barutana and at the Victor Monument plateau. The official opening is on July 15 at 20:00 at Kolarac Hall when visitors will be entertained by Tino Favazza, tenor, Snežana Savičić-Sekulić, soprano and Military ensemble Stanislav Binički. Belef visitors can expect many concerts, theater plays, cabaret evenings.
At the Great Powder Magazine will be held theater plays produced by Atelje 212, Belgrade Drama Theater, Faculty of Dramatic Art. Jazz program brings concerts by our renowned singer Bisera Veletanlić and Vasil Hadžimanov Band, Jovan Maljoković, Vlada Maričič…Music program also includes of concerts by ethno singer Bilja Krstić and her group Bistrik, Royal String Orchestra of St. George, violin player Jovan Kolundžija, as well as the most popular and very attractive piano duo – LP Duo Sonja Lončar and Andrija Pavlović and many more.
Belef program will be closed on August 15 at the Republic Square with the concert “A Sentimental Journey” by one of the most famous Yugoslav singer Leo Martin and Belgrade Dance Orchestra.
