Global punk rock icon Billy Idol is set to deliver an unforgettable performance in Belgrade on July 9 at Kalemegdan’s Lower Town, organized by Long Play.
As part of the European leg of his “It’s a Nice Day To… Tour Again”, this will mark Billy Idol’s third concert in the Serbian capital. Eleven years after his legendary show at the same venue, he is coming back to set the crowd on fire with timeless hits that have captivated generations: “Rebel Yell,” “White Wedding,” “Dancing With Myself,” “Cradle of Love,” “Eyes Without a Face,” “Mony Mony,” “Hot in the City”, and many more!
“We have fans who have been with us for years, but also younger ones. I love that they get to experience the essence of how it all was back in the day,” says Billy Idol ahead of his upcoming concerts.
2025 is set to be a milestone year for the rock legend, as he celebrates his 70th birthday and awaits possible induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. His career took off between 1977 and 1981 with three albums recorded with Generation X, before he moved to the U.S. and launched an impressive solo career that transcended genres and defined an era.
