Renowned producer, DJ, and innovator in contemporary electronic music, Bonobo, will present his exclusive OUTLIER DJ set in Belgrade. On July 5, OpenAir Corner at Luka Beograd will host an evening of immersive soundscapes and meticulously curated electronic rhythms, offering audiences an unparalleled clubbing experience.
A Pioneer in Electronic Music
For over two decades, Simon Green, professionally known as Bonobo, has been redefining electronic music, blending organic instrumentation, intricate beats, and rich melodic textures. His critically acclaimed 2022 album, Fragments, achieved global success, followed by an extensive world tour that attracted over 750,000 attendees across four continents, with performances at prestigious festivals such as Glastonbury, Sónar, and Fuji Rock.
As the founder of OUTLIER, a platform that has set new standards in club culture, Bonobo has collaborated with leading electronic music figures, including Barry Can’t Swim, Sofia Kourtesis, salute, DJ Koze, Dixon, Kerri Chandler, and Young Marco. His b2b set with Disclosure in Los Angeles was widely recognized as one of the most notable performances of the year.
Global Recognition and Innovation
Bonobo’s artistic contributions have earned him seven GRAMMY nominations, equating him with industry legends such as The Chemical Brothers and Madonna. Continuing his artistic evolution, Bonobo’s recent releases under Ninja Tune, including Expander, Defender, ATK, and Fold (a collaboration with Jacques Greene), demonstrate his ongoing innovation.
