Tastemaker, Educator, Sound Designer, DJ, Producer- Mike Huckaby has done much for Detroit’s electronic music. The man behind the once legendary Record Time store has gathered an encyclopedic knowledge of music and left it for the future generations. Mike has passed away one week ago at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak.
Mike was one of those guys who know all the roots and culture of electronic dance music. He was a person who can see beyond the hype and divisions within the scene. Mike knew what electronic music was all about!
He was a welcome guest in Belgrade, especially at the 20/44 boat for many years.
