For the first time in Belgrade, the talented DJ and producer SWEELY from France, known as “the king of groove,” is coming to the second edition of the FOMO party on August 31st at Barutana. Local support will be provided by the most prominent DJs from our region: RUNY, NEMAX, and the DJ duo LUTON & ŠĆEPA. This eclectic mix of performers guarantees an unforgettable experience and an atmosphere that will last until the early morning hours.
SWEELY is one of the most creative producers of the new generation, skillfully crafting various musical genres such as Minimal, Micro House, and Electro. His ability to compose and release a consistent number of tracks while maintaining originality has significantly shaped his identity, as reflected in his releases on labels like Distant Hawaii, Lobster Theremin, Concrete Music, and more. His deep, energetic live performances earned him a residency at the notorious CONCRETE club in Paris.
SWEELY’s musical interests trace back to his early days and encompass a wide range of styles, which have greatly influenced his musical direction. He spends much of his time exploring every musical instrument that comes his way, with a particular fondness for guitar and keyboard. His tracks oscillate between jazz influences with soulful vocals, infectious deep basslines, and driving rhythms that move the crowd. You’ll always find him dancing behind his MPC and other equipment, producing mesmerizing music on the spot that radiates his energy and unites the audience.
FOMO aims to introduce the Belgrade audience to renowned artists who are currently featured in the lineups of the most famous festivals, offering a unique program that’s not to be missed. This season, FOMO has significantly expanded its offerings, expecting more visitors than ever before. The first edition of the FOMO party unveiled a new and different side of Belgrade—one that perhaps hasn’t been fully explored. The audience that attended showcased a refined taste and sensibility that may have been marginalized in the past but is now back in the spotlight, with a strong demand for high-quality music events.
