Tijana T lays the first stone of her new party series “Voyage to Belgrade” with a very special #1! Her guest will be Daniel Avery, British producer known for his groundbreaking albums that blurred the lines between dance floor and home listening. Party will take place at the Drugstore club on the 6th of April.
After that unforgettable allnighter and some more adventures worldwide in her diary, Tijana T is back, this time as a guide through Belgrade and Drugstore host to one of the greatest creators and curators of some of the most inventive and forward thinking electronic sounds emerging today.
Even as a Fabric resident DJ and Rinse FM radio host, to be praised by Andrew Weatherall is not a joke in dance music world. Right after releasing his debut album ‘Drone Logic’ on Erol Alkan’s Phantasy label in 2013, Daniel Avery got a spotlight on him for everyone wanted to have a piece of that impressively trippy new music. With a DJ mentality and approach, Avery makes his tracks with a good sense of when and where his tracks could be played, bringing functional to another level. Last April, Avery released ‘Song For Alpha’, his second album fueled with celestial chimes, adventurous techno and proper chill out zones. Talent!
How and where Tijana and Daniel met you can watch in the first episode of ‘Voyage to Belgrade’.
As they wrote on Avery quite some time ago: “The hype’s entirely justified.”
