KOIKOI’s latest video, for Ti imaš mir, taken from their current album O sreći u snovima, has been selected for the official programmes of two major European music video festivals, marking a significant step in the band’s international rise.
KOIKOI, one of the most exciting indie-rock acts to emerge from the Balkans, continues their rise on the international stage. Following their major Belgrade concert at the sold-out Hangar, the band further cemented their status as a leading force in the region, winning two key RUNDA awards – Best Album and Artist of the Year.
At the London Music Video Awards, the video has been nominated in two major categories: Best Music Video and Best Cinematography. Further international recognition comes from Germany, where it has been included in the prestigious Silver Screening programme at the Berlin Music Video Awards. Across the festival’s competitive categories, KOIKOI appear alongside some of today’s biggest global names, including Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran, Rosalía, Doja Cat, KATSEYE, DJ Snake, A$AP Rocky, Raye and Travis Scott.

The video for Ti imaš mir was directed by Ivan Stojiljković, with cinematography by Džejlan Ibrahimović and production by Vukota Antunović of Beef Production. Stojiljković says the recognition shows that a distinctive artistic vision can stand alongside major international productions:
“The video was created as an independent project, driven by the need to see the idea through without compromise, in conditions that relied far more on energy, trust and collective effort than on budget. The process was intense and often pushed the limits of what felt possible, but that was precisely where its strength lay. That is why this nomination means so much to us. We find ourselves competing with works backed by major systems, serious production infrastructures and budgets many times larger than ours. This selection is not only recognition for one video, but confirmation that ideas, approach and artistic vision still matter, and remain relevant on a global level. We are proud of the entire team behind this project, who gave everything to bring this vision to life. This is the result of shared enthusiasm and the belief that, even within limitations, it is possible to create something that communicates clearly and powerfully,” said Stojiljković for Oblakoder Magazine.

For KOIKOI, the success of the video is inseparable from the band’s broader vision of building artistic community:
“The album O sreći u snovima marked a new chapter in the band’s creative journey, during which we founded KoiKolektiv — a platform dedicated to nurturing community and supporting the work of other artists. Shooting the video for ‘Ti imaš mir’ was a major step forward for us, and we are immensely glad that our music and visual identity can now stand alongside global productions and enter the programmes of international festivals. After our Belgrade concert at Hangar, where we showed that local production can reach the highest standards — shoulder to shoulder with international work — while also placing the community we collaborate with at the centre, these nominations confirm that we are on the right path,” the band said.
KOIKOI are currently touring across Europe, with a run of festival appearances that will take their distinctive sound to some of the continent’s most prominent stages, including Sziget in Budapest, Pohoda in Slovakia and Electric Castle in Romania, as well as Focus Wales in the UK and Iceland Airwaves in Iceland. Closer to home, the band are also set to appear at Sea Star, Zagreb Beer Fest and MMF.
