This spring, Belgrade’s Urban Oases are coming to life once again—inviting neighbors, artists, children, and youth to connect, share, and grow together. On Friday, May 16, 2025, three beloved community spaces will host open-air concerts by Muzikon, transforming ordinary corners of the city into vibrant gathering places filled with music, conversation, and creativity.
But this is more than just a cultural event. It’s part of an ongoing journey—a shared effort between residents, institutions, and partners to reimagine what our neighborhoods can be. From a healing garden in the Arboretum to a youth center in Čukarica, these Oases offer spaces of care, inclusion, and sustainability.
With support from the Goethe-Institut, this year’s programme celebrates local ownership and participation. Each Oasis will host its own event, but they’re also part of a connected story—linked by shared values and open dialogue over coffee, cake, and collective dreams. Inspired by nature, grounded in community, and shaped by those who use them most, the Urban Oases of 2025 are spaces where everyone has a voice—and the neighborhood has the final word.
Join us for a day of music, green thinking, and meaningful encounters in the heart of the city.
