Maja Uzelac’s First Solo Exhibition: Second Hand Emotion

Days of Catalan Cinema at Yugoslav Film Archive

The Institut Ramon Llull, a public consortium for the international promotion of the Catalan language and culture, is pleased to present a film retrospective of Marc Recha- a Catalan filmmaker recognized by the main international festivals. Recha is the author of Pau and his brother, the only film in Catalan which has been included in the official Cannes selection.

For Marc Recha, “cinema is the great human adventure”. For him, on set is the best place where one can be, it’s where life and cinema inevitably mix. His stories, strongly linked to a man-made landscape, come from all across the Catalan territory, for which he has become a great International ambassador. Through an intimate and suggestive cinema, anchored in reality, but open to mystery and magic, this retrospective is a part of the exhibition “Catalan Cinema Days”, held at the Jugoslovenska Kinoteka in Belgrade (Yugoslav Film Archive).

The program is available from 29/10 to 02/11 in 2022

All movies have Serbian subtitles.
*Movies with Serbian and English subtitles.
