For seven years, the Chef of Enso has been tirelessly dedicated to the creation of gastronomic masterpieces, with a passion that is palpable in every dish that emerges from the kitchen. While the foundation of Enso’s cuisine is rooted in the modern French school, Chef Nedeljko artfully fuses influences from Serbian, Italian, and Oriental cuisine, creating a harmonious blend that transcends traditional culinary boundaries. The result is an unforgettable gastronomic journey that is sure to leave a lasting impression on all who experience it.
The name Enso is inspired by the moment when the mind becomes free, allowing the body to create freely. Taken from Zen Buddhism, the concept of Enso symbolizes the strength, elegance, and emptiness of the universe, emphasizing the simplicity of Japanese aesthetics. The restaurant’s logo, painted in a single stroke, represents a circle that carries deep meaning for the owner. It represents wholeness, harmony, and infinity. Within this circle, different entities converge BitefArtCafe club, Enso restaurant, event agency, Musicology music festival, and the people who have been working and creating more beautiful Belgrade for years. Simply put, it embodies the owner’s “Parallel Belgrade”, where all his loves are united in a single space. It represents a place where different talents and passions come together to create a unique experience.

The owner shared with us a captivating anecdote, one that centered around a dish that has become a centerpiece of the restaurant’s menu – the Rabbit.
“That singular dish truly marked a turning point in the destiny of this restaurant. It was a moment where all doubts about the direction Enso should take were dispelled. As I savored that remarkable dish, every sense was awakened by its complex and harmonious interplay of flavors, textures, and aromas. In that instant, I knew that I had found a truly exceptional chef, and I realized that I could not restrict his creativity in any way. A wondrous rabbit terrine, crowned with a dollop of banana and curry ice cream, and served on a bed of luxurious spinach coulis. On the side, a medley of “pickled vegetables” added the perfect touch of piquancy and contrast. Can you hear the music? The symphony of flavors and textures that danced on my palate was simply sublime. It was a moment of pure culinary bliss that I will never forget”.
