One of the most successful British electronic bands, Kosheen, is returning to Belgrade after two years to celebrate 25 years of their career with fans at a concert on October 19th at Dorćol Platz.
Led by the extraordinary voice and energy of Siân Evans, Kosheen is renowned for their hits and live performances, which they proved during their last concert at the Belgrade Beer Fest in 2022 at a packed Ušće.
The band gained fame in the early 2000s with the hit “Hide U” from their debut album Resist (2001, Moksha), which reached platinum status. This was followed by crossover hits like “Catch,” “Hungry,” and “All In My Head,” catapulting them to the top of the British charts. The group reached number one on music charts in both the UK and Europe, winning numerous awards with their unique fusion of breakbeat rhythms, drum’n’bass, and conventional songs, all embodied by the singer and songwriter Siân Evans.
With five studio albums, the band, led by Siân, has earned a reputation as one of the iconic music groups of their time. After taking a break from touring for several years, Siân Evans used the pause to channel her energy and bring a fresh perspective to the band’s live performances. Reaching a new level of passion and depth, she perfected the music and the live shows. During live performances, Siân has always demonstrated a unique ability to make her songs resonate deeply with the audience through her flawless vocals, charisma, and boundless enthusiasm.
In 2019, the band returned to the scene in full force, headlining major festivals across the UK and Europe, as well as world-class events. Since then, Kosheen has delivered some of their best concerts, performing energetic, passionate, and powerful sets with a renewed lineup, achieving great success.
A major milestone in their career was their 2021 UK tour, celebrating the 20th anniversary of their legendary album Resist. Fans and audiences alike gave them well-deserved recognition for their powerful performances. On stage, Siân Evans is highly captivating, pouring immense energy into each show, with her music’s strength perfectly matching her unique presence and charisma. With each performance, Kosheen continues to solidify their reputation as one of the most iconic bands of their era.
At the concert on October 19th at Dorćol Platz, Kosheen will perform their greatest hits, spanning their 25-year career. Tickets, priced at 2,500 dinars, are available at all Ticket Vision outlets and online at tickets.rs.
