Laufter II Eugster Presents Marta Jovanic “Motherhood”

Laufter II Eugster will present a new work in sculpture “Motherhood” by Marta Jovanovic. Exhibition opening will take place on Friday, December 8 at 7 pm. Exhibition will last until the 20th of January. Admission is available upon appointments only. For more info contact +381 66 6323 942. 

Born in Belgrade, performance artist and mentor Marta Jovanović, received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Tulane University in New Orleans after studying at Scuola Lorenzo de’ Medici in Florence. She attended the Performance Art and Politics program of the Hemispheric Art Institute at New York University, as well as the AIM (Artist In The Market Place) program of the Bronx Museum. She received the prestigious “Roma Capitale” award for distinguished artistic contribution in Italy. Two years ago she founded PerformanceHUB – an education platform for students and young artists in Belgrade. Jovanović is scheduled to join the Getty Research Institute in Los Angeles as a Project Researcher with a focus on performance art in October 2017. She is the subject of Born Just Now, a documentary film directed by Robert Adanto scheduled to be released world-wide in early 2018.
