A man with a hat, tea, and grease strip in the corner of the floor. Thirty years after his death, he is like a visionary who was ahead of his time. Even then, he patiently tried to explain that “money must not be a commodity.” He knew that the money trade would undermine democracy. And more than that. Joseph Beuys fights, chatters, speaks in an instructive tone, and explains art to a dead rabbit. “Will you start a revolution without laughter?” He asks – and laughs. His expanded understanding of art took him to the very core of social debates that are still relevant today.
