June 1st & 2nd 2015
For the first time in Italy!
This year Monegros festival will travel to Italy and, before returning to the Spanish desert for July, it will make
an important pit stop at the Old River Park in the countryside of Caserta, a few kilometres from Naples, Italy.
The location, chosen for the first edition of Monegros Italy, is an oasis on the famous Volturno river and will
maintain the calibre of this historic Spanish festival. What started off as a small and intimate rave party 21
years ago has become a fixed meeting for clubbers from all over Europe and the rest of the world, with last
years edition seeing over 40.000 people attend.
The Arnau family (founders and organisers behind Monegros festival, elrow, florida 135 & KER) and Enter
Group have joined forces with the Italian entertainment agencies International Talent and Beatside Bookings to
build up a massive event this year that will honor the name of Monegros with an extraordinary new location
and a top-notch line up. Ben Klock, Apollonia, Chris Liebing, Maceo Plex, Pan Pot, Rodhad, Paco Osuna,
Ilario Alicante and Seth Troxler are only a few of the big names that will shape the festival and will bring the
Old River Park to life on the 1st and 2nd of June, with their renowned high quality electronic music (full line-up
More than 30 hours of music with the best DJs on Earth will light up the unique spot where music and the
elements of nature come together to deliver an incredible rave experience. Given the cultural and musical
attitudes it shares with Spain, Italy was the obvious choice made by the Arnau family to spread the Monegros
format outside Spain. One of the main desires of the Arnau family is to find special and unique locations
around the world where they can spread the Monegros brand. For this first incursion into the Italian scene, we
travel from desert to forest.
