Selected works from the private collection Macura will be presented in Prodajna Galerija Beograd (19 “Kosančićev Venac”). Exhibition  is motivated by the need to question importance, role, methods of presentation, and the future of private collections, which have established communication with the public in the last few decades. Researchers and professionals will  provide valuable insight into unique examples of artworks, but also into certain thematic and program units.

Collection is oriented primarily to the historical avant-garde movements of the interwar period (Zenitism, Dadaism, Surrealism, Constructivism) and the part played by nu-avant garde  European artists during the 50’s and 60’s, but it also includes works by other authors whose artistic and innovative activity was the turning-point in their time.

Exhibition will be held until the 7th of May.
