Lea Dobričić won the second round of competition for the Burn Studios DJ Residency on the island of Ibiza, held this weekend at the “Mix Off” party at Fabrika club in Novi Sad. According to the decision of the jury consisting of the famous Serbian djs Vlada Janjić, Dejan Milićević and Marko Milosavljević, Lea prepared and played dj set overcoming strong competition and fulfilling criteria including: music selection, mixing skills, contact with the audience, performance and personal energy. Other finalists were Goran Kan, Lio, Luka Vuković and Aleksandra B. Šaranac.
Lea, along with representatives of other countries will travel to the International Music Summit in Ibiza, where she will participate in intensive workshops with music superstars such as: Fatboy Slim, Avicii, Joe Goddard from Hot Chip Project, Maceo Plex, Solomon and Steve Lawler. Three of the most talented participants will achieve their dreams by getting summer residencies at Ibiza clubs including Cafe Mambo and Sankeys.
“I have overwhelming honor to represent Serbia in Ibiza and I will do my best to justify the trust. Very glad that I will learn from musicians such as Fatboy Slim, Maceo Plex, Solomun, Steve Lawler, and I believe that this will be a turning point in my career. Burn made the incredible thing supporting talented music artists and giving them an opportunity that comes once in a lifetime. I am very happy that this year the opportunity is given to me, ” said the queen of Belgrade underground Lea Dobričić.
